CommentsTaj here saying hello from new home;glad to have your inspiring music with me always;it plays to my heart as always
CommentsHello John! I finally moved with my favorite man, out of Red Lodge although we still keep a place there.I am out in the middle of nowhere,Montana with him on his ranch and loving every minute of it. I DO miss playing music with my Red Lodge buddies a lot but the change will do me good.I made one friend who has a studio set up in Lewistown(26 miles away) so I will get to play with other musicians again...in the meantime I'm playing(with)myself, learning some new stuff.I just got this computer so I could keep up with all my angels more easily.Loved your website and as always, great to hear your voice.Hope life is sending you more great experiences.Keep in touch and love you as always.Taj
Commentsgreat to revisit the site from time to time...Ricard you're a wizard....
Commentsahem.........RicHard, you're a wizard
CommentsJohn! What a great show! Thanks for helping celebrate the Earth (it's tethered to your heart, afterall)! I hope some of you Earthlings out there logged on for John's fantastic Earth Day show in Billings, Montana, USA. If you missed it, you should read my review online April 24. Hey, you can catch my show on www.yellowstonepublicradio.org featuring John on Friday, May 17 at 8pm Mountain Time (maybe we'll play a song from that show... Anyway, long live the Earth (I hope she'll take us back after that 24 hours, jah!)! Cheers!
CommentsHey Johnny- Couldn't attend your concert last night like I had planned. My dad is in the hospital again and I was awaiting work of his condition. I listened and am in total awe of your increasing and amazing talent. The two new song that I heard blew me away. I anxiously await the new CD. I am playing Elephant Country in the gallery as I write this. It always is an incredible piece of artistry. Hi to Ms. Marsh! Love, Vicki
CommentsWe just wanted you to know that we were there with you last night. It was magical! We were both overcome with love and joy for you. I hope that somehow you were feeling our arms and our love embracing you. Have no idea if you will actually see this or not, but we sure hope so. Please don't forget to check in once in a while ~ miss you terribly!! We're always here for you. Peace and Namaste ~ Mom and Dad
CommentsFor any of you who missed John's Earth Day concert on this last Friday at MSU Billings, my condolences. The man is back, in exceedingly rare form, and accompanied by the incredible backing vocals and perceptive guitar talents of newfound friends! The show was truly magic, and makes the wait for the new cd even harder--if this was a "rough sample", we'll be reeling from the polished effort! As expected, he rocked the house, and richly deserved the standing ovation which followed. Stay tuned...It just keeps getting even better!
CommentsExcellent show Mr. Herrmann! Easily the best show I've seen in a long, long while! I loved the new "band". The girls were fantastic, and I really like Jeff Troxel on guitar, nice new direction. Something refreshing and without all the banging and clanging from the last performance I saw with the percussionist. I liked that too, but what your doing now is very sweet indeed! I want the new CD as soon as it's finished!!! JAZZMANN
CommentsWonderful concert John! I like the new band too...Will the two singers and the bass player be playing with on clay day? Thanks for signing Megans cd, she's been listening to it all week! See you in May:) Gotta run, lunch break is over! P.S. They have your cd's at Hastings now!
CommentsHi John- I have a tape of your KEMC live broadcast that I want to mail to you. What is your physical address. Vicki Van Buskirk, your pal
CommentsTook a minute from my day to stop by and say I like the way you play :) Unexpectedly found some new sounds to download directly into my electronically digitized collection!! Also just got a tape recording of John doing a live radio broadcast!! consequently, my stockpile of elephant paraphernalia is growing larger than I had expected which, as I understand it, is not necessarily a bad thing. Keep up the good sounding work, looking forward to the next disc!!
CommentsWe are proud to announce thet John will performing on our horror movie soundtrack and perform onscreen as well!! - Denny LeMaster (Bent Wig Films)
CommentsI had the pleasure of hearing John Play at Java Joe's, my favorite hang out space. You were terrific! Glad I discovered you and wish I could keep you all to myself, but I know you will be another great big act that I'll have to pay huge sums of money to go and see! :( Oh well, I can say one day, I saw him when:)...Jasmine
Commentswhere's your next cd? The masses are eagerly waiting its arrival!! Don't make us wait too long!
CommentsJohn, I went looking for important music and I found you. Thank you for Elephant Country. I've shared your MP3 of Sun Rose with a few and they will be buying soon too. <smile> I came back to the site and decided to read your interviews. Saw what you said about your older brother being in the Troopers. My older brother instructed the Troopers for many years (still lives there) and they Troopers played at his wedding. Perhaps your older brother knew my older brother. (Not quite the same as your mother must have known my mother, but change a couple of letters and there you are!) Thank you for who you are and what you do. Liz
CommentsJohn, When I said your music is pretty good, I really meant to say that it's amazing-you really need to work on your cherry pit spitting skills though..
CommentsJohnny- Happy Birthday Leo!! Thank you so much for the wonderful words and encouragement. You are the best Mr. Johnny! I wish you best of everything in the coming year. I hope everything good happens for you. Rick says hello, sorry he missed you, and happy birthday- you are finally getting as old as you look! Love you Mr. Herrmann, V.
CommentsHappy Birthday, John. May my son, also born on this day, grow into the same creativity, sensitivity, and generosity of spirit that have become your through the years. (By the way, he is 17 today, so if for some reason you would like to borrow him indefinitely, just let me know. <smile>
CommentsI listened to you when you were here for Picnic in the Park. It just blew me away, I love your music, I purchased your CD and I can't wait for you to make more. Please come back to our area next year. Why not move here> {:-)
CommentsDear John, You played for us in Butte Mt. three summers ago (Irish Times/Blus Venus). I listen to your music and it evokes Montana for me as I left her in '99 to go sailing and have another kind of experience. But my heart resides there. Quite by chance I browsed over your C.D. insert and discovered you had a web site. What a wounderful surprise to see how your life has unfolded over the last three years. I love the ideas you hold dear and of course the music. You are touching and reaching so many people. What a wounderful thing to affect so many and make a difference. Wishing you the best of everything and like many others I await your new music with lovely anticipation. Gemma.
CommentsHi John,Well I'm quite impressed by the level of muscianship and your voice. Sun rose is a great song! All the best in the future. Tommy MAck

You had suggested a CD I might enjoy; but as usual I have forgotten it's name. We'll se you at your next Billings date; the Zoo? Take care Terry

CommentsJohn Andre, Thank you for sharing your music with so many eager listeners. You inspire and make people take notice of what's going on around them and inside their souls.
CommentsHi John- what a chance this was. I was scanning through my cds to find the Beatles for my daughter today and there was All Quiet... Tonight it crossed my mind as I looked for Yellowstone news on Google... I went to Google- typed in your name and here you are. :o) Nice sounds- I'll have to get the CD. Good to see you are still into your music- it truly is you. I have not been to Billings in years. I am surprised to see you there. Do you remember who I am? Vicky
CommentsMan,I've been lookin' for a bass player/singer for my band, which I haven't named yet. The really hard part is finding someone my age, I'm 14 and in the 8th grade. If you know somebody who is around my age, just e-mail me and make it out to Justin. Thank You for reading this, as it means the world to me, well not really, but you know it's a hard knock life fer me. Again, thank you for your concerns -Justin P.S. I play guitar and ma' buddy Kellen plays the drums. Sorry, that's just it me an' heem, but anyway, that's why I'm writin' this now insent it?

CommentsJohn, I met you in a business setting recently and was afraid to trust you because you were so friendly. I nearly cried when I visited your website and listened to your music because it is so beautiful. I hope I can find your CD. I am sorry for misunderstanding you. Sometimes we need to be reminded that some people really are what they seem and that beautiful things can happen to people who are accepting of the opportunity.
CommentsJohn, thank you so much for dropping off the CD. I listened to it last night and it was so incredible. I could feel something energetic happening in my soul. Your music lights up the world.

CommentsI have listened to two live recordings from Sopot Festival 1989 in my local radio station: "Can I Have A Little More" and "How About You" of All Quiet. I have recorded them and I can't stop listen to these rare performances.
CommentsKrzysztof, I would love to get a copy of those recordings! Is your last name Janek by chance...?Please send me your email address to contact@johnandreherrmann.com and let me know how I can get a copy of those songs...All the best and glad you like the music even though it's been so many years ago! I hope this message finds you well! JAH

CommentsHello John! Been feeling the need to correspond w/you since you appear'd here in Billings, 8/28/04. What a wonderful performance!! Mo, Karen, Carol & I had a great time that night. Too bad about the miscommunication... we should have met you @ Perkins. As I was truely looking to visiting w/you, as we did after your Alberta Bair appearance... maybe we can "git'er dun" next time your in town!! Anyway... That August night, 8/28/04 you appear'd, as I listened deeply to you transform song into words of meaning to feed my soul... I wept, as your words crept into a place no one has ever been before. It was as if you knew me, better than I knew myself, yet we've spoken few words between us. With the recent separation in my marriage, I've been broken open... facing the dark places in life and finding my true self. Music has always been a vehicle I've used to feed my soul, but never before have I felt song to read me. Your music, your words... has polish'd my souls lantern, helping to wipe away the soot and the residue off the glass, helping to allow the light that's already in side me... to shine through. I thank you for sharing who you are with myself, and the other people you touch, such as Mo, Karen... the world. I hope you sharing your vision of life through your music, is as satisfying for you, as it is for the rest of us. Can't wait to hear you new release. Well... I've rambled... as I will tend to do... Hope all is good for you!! That your git'ner dun, on the new release!! Feel free to mail me back... Looking forward to the next adventure... xoxo Jen

We love you and take care of yourself.
